Our Solution: We delivered a Digital Discovery Phase to assess their workflows and critical documents. eBITS designed a hybrid document management model — blending on-site digitisation with remote document processing — and recommended proven DMS tools tailored to their budget and business needs.

Missing Medical Records in a GP Practice

The Challenge: A longstanding medical practice faced ongoing issues with lost patient records, deteriorating paper files, and manual index cards filed in the wrong order.
With over 900 active patients and over 15 years of records, their storage methods were unsustainable.
Our Solution: We worked closely with the practice to prioritise scanning and indexing key historical records.
Using OCR technology, we digitised over 4,000 pages and deployed an on-premise DMS solution with secure off-site backup facilities.
